Hi, I’m Angee! I’ve spent my career with the City raising my family. I have four boys who are grown now but the babies were only four when I started. The kids are gone and I’m a new empty nester, but there’s more excitement on the horizon as I just found out I’m going to be a grandma! For now, I spend most of my time with my two cats and two dogs. We love to binge Netflix and play in the garden. I also like to partake in Montana’s greatest offering: the outdoors. There’s nothing better than a scenic hike to a hot fishing hole. I am a Public Safety Communications Officer Supervisor (a.k.a. dispatcher) and have been with the city for 20 years. We are a combined center providing dispatch services for the Great Falls Police Department, Cascade County Sheriff’s Office, Great Falls Fire Rescue, Great Falls Emergency Service, and many small volunteer rural fire and EMS agencies. In addition to dispatching, we are also a call center receiving 911 and non-emergency admin lines. Every day here is different. It’s exciting to find out what the day holds and know that I could make a difference in somebody’s life when it counts. It seems like yesterday I was a brand new dispatcher embarking on this adventure. I’ve come to realize that one of the most important contributions I can make is to help others discover a passion for this work and develop the future leaders of our agency. Let me tell you why you’ll love this job!
